Job Title:
AM Opening Cook Position for Year Round Camp and retreat center The Woodland Camp
Purpose Statement:
To advance our mission and vision by serving excellent food with extraordinary service while effectively managing resources.
Basic Qualifications:
- Passion for foodservice
- Foodservice experience
- Leadership experience
- Driven and innovative
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Batch Cooking service
- Must be willing to work evenings and Weekends if needed
Responsibilities:
- Oversee food production under the direction of the Foodservice Manager
- Foodservice
- Assist in preparing, cooking, and serving all foodservice needs with the help of a team
- Assist campers and guests with allergies and special diets
- Assist in catering special events and fundraisers
- Kitchen
- Maintain equipment and supply levels
- Maintain health & safety standards in food preparation and food quality, including staying current on all necessary certifications and passing all health inspections conducted by the state of Georgia
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment
- Assist in execution of all foodservice functions / lead all foodservice personnel
- Open / or Close kitchen by the outline of the Food Service Manager
