AM Opening Cook Position for Year Round Camp and retreat center The Woodland Camp

Purpose Statement:

Basic Qualifications:

• Passion for foodservice
• Foodservice experience
• Leadership experience
• Driven and innovative
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Batch Cooking service
• Must be willing to work evenings and Weekends if needed

Responsibilities:

• Oversee food production under the direction of the Foodservice Manager
• Foodservice
  • Assist in preparing, cooking, and serving all foodservice needs with the help of a team
  • Assist campers and guests with allergies and special diets
  • Assist in catering special events and fundraisers
• Kitchen
  •  Maintain equipment and supply levels
  • Maintain health & safety standards in food preparation and food quality, including staying current on all necessary certifications and passing all health inspections conducted by the state of Georgia
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment
  • Assist in execution of all foodservice functions / lead all foodservice personnel
  • Open / or Close kitchen by the outline of the Food Service Manager
